My Future, My Choice

Beyond Possible

People with disability are embracing My Future, My Choice as a way to control how they want to live their lives now and plan for the future. If your organisation provides products or services related to people with disability, our Disability Expo program is your opportunity to be in front of thousands of consumers looking for solutions.

Operating since 2014, we operate the largest Disability Expo program in Australia, with at least 7 events across the country each year. We are supported by 1000+ exhibitors and sponsors and more than 45,000+ registered attendees each and every year. Our Disability Expos provide high value opportunities for engagement between NDIS product and service providers, government and community organisations and people with disability, their families and carers.

Increase your impact and change lives – our attendees tell us that coming to a My Future, My Choice disability expo had an overwhelmingly positive impact on their ongoing care needs.

My Future, My Choice disability expos have exhibition space for organisations who provide a variety of specialist care services, products, technologies, occupational therapy, mobility aids, modified vehicles & housing, employment, leisure & sports programs, travel, community groups, advocacy & government and much more.

INTRODUCING WORKABILITY EXPOS

ImpactInstitute has 10 years experience bringing the disability community together and we are now proud to give you a sneak peek at our new initiative – WorkAbility Expos – the initiative transforming disability employment.

WorkAbility Expos are funded by the Australian Government Department of Social Services and will launch at our My Future, My Choice Brisbane Disability Expo in 2024 to connect employers and people with disability.

WorkAbility expos will have both exhibition space for government organisations, advocacy, support services, training and other organisations that support people with disability as well as inclusive employers who are actively looking to employ people with disability.

There will be a dedicated WorkAbility zone for employers to host 1:1 consultations as well as a series of workshops to help both businesses and people with disability on their employment journey.
Ask our team how you can get involved.

"After 2 years of no expos, we were ready to get back into it and make a bang at the Melbourne Disability Expo, and it did not disappoint! The booth size and location as Platinum Sponsors was fantastic, the extras that come with it allowed Simply Helping to be positioned perfectly for the lead up to, and during, the event. We met so many incredible people from the public and other organisations; overall it was an amazing event to be involved with!"

"...the event was really well organised and everything ran so smoothly. We valued meeting up with disability service providers relevant to the Fragile X community. We also really enjoyed meeting some of the Fragile X families from the area. It was a very valuable connection and awareness raising event for Fragile X. We are looking forward to the other Expos we’ve booked in to for 2021, and we will be delighted to return to the Hunter Expo next time it is run."

“We held our first exhibition on the Gold Coast in July 2021 which was hosted by Impact Institute. Although there were some reservations being the first exhibition we had been involved with post covid, it was well managed, and all ran smoothly. The Gold Coast Disability Expo has helped Lifestyle Mentor Services become more recognised within our community, our brand and logo is more recognised and related to, and we have successfully linked in and positively connected to other organisations within the community. We have had great contacts established with other service providers, plan managers, other support workers, and providers of therapies to name but a few. It has certainly helped grow our business and helped us to refer some clients to other service providers too. We are looking forward to our next Exhibition in Brisbane.

"I attended the Hunter, Sydney and Canberra Disability Expo's on behalf of the Hireup team and would like to thank the Impact Institute team for their hard work in making all three expo's a great success! As a national platform, we've loved the opportunity to connect with our existing community in Canberra and the Newcastle area, whilst also building a broader awareness within the disability community of the work Hireup is doing. Hireup were Gold Sponsors of all three expo's, and this has been incredibly worthwhile to increase Hireup's brand awareness and have a great area at the expo to speak with new potential participants, support workers and industry contacts. Thank you to the Impact Institute team for the opportunity to exhibit. All expo's were well organised, important information was communicated timely and the team were always responsive to any questions we had."

"We've been to numerous expos in the past, and I can say with utmost sincerity that we have talked to more people at this expo today than what we've talked to in previous expos for the entire duration. It's been a very pleasant experience. The staff here have been helpful, from the convention centre through to the event organisers, and we've had lots of people actually come through and talk to us."

"The Hunter Disability Expo 2023 was the first expo in the Hunter Tyrex has been able to attend in several years. We were absolutely blown away by the turn out across the two days, it was close to the biggest crowd we have seen at an expo. The atmosphere was electric, and everyone was there to have a great time. From registering to exhibit, to setting up the stall and finally being there on the day, the organisation was seamless. As a local Hunter manufacturer this is definitely an expo we will continue to attend for years to come."
